Kensington Park Community Associaiton (KPCA)
The Kensington Park Community Association is a volunteer neighborhood association, registered with the City of Savannah, and comprised of the neighborhoods of Kensington Park and Groveland. We also extend a warm welcome to those residents from Habersham Woods, Oakdale and Jackson Woods, and invite them to feel free to attend any of our community meetings.
IIf you are new to the neighborhood, curious about us, or a long time resident, we welcome you. Our neighborhood association has been in existence since 1955 and is one the oldest recognized neighborhood associations in Georgia!
We hold meetings that are open to the public on the second Tuesday of the month on even months at 7PM, at the Church of the Nazarene, located at the corner of Waters Ave and Johnston Street. These meetings, which normally last an hour are a great place to hear from our elected leaders about issues, our local public service officials like police, fire, property maintenance and sanitation as to what kinds of concerns we have, and to get to know one another. We also have a very active neighborhood watch group whose efforts and coordination with the police department has helped reduce crime in the neighborhood. (for more meeting information click here)
