The Year that Was.........
It has been a long and very crazy year for most of us. Many of us sat home for a year while others had to work through the first and hopefully only global pandemic of our lifetime. We as a neighborhood tried to keep a few things as normal as possible, including our social distanced Halloween. We did however have to cancel two years of our Annual Block Party event. Perhaps by Fall, we can safely consider an event of that size. Thank you to everyone who looked in on our older neighbors, who helped become substitute teachers and who had to learn to live life at a different pace. You truly are what makes Kensington Park and Groveland one of the most desirable neighborhoods to live in!

Did you get your bumper sticker? These little 1.5" stickers do more than you know! They identify your vehicle as being part of the Kensington Park Community Association which includes the neighborhoods of Kensington Park and Groveland. Our neighborhood watch volunteers can tell if the car in the driveway is the homeowners or not. If it looks suspicious and has no sticker we can ask for the police to come. We can cut down on house burglaries this way. The police can also identify cars that belog in the neighborhood and can and will ask a suspicious looking vehicle what business they have here. On the fun side you can share the pride in your neighborhood. If you need one contact us at [email protected]
Do you have a story you'd like to share, or maybe some old photos of Kensington Park or Groveland? Share them with us. Contact Pam Miller at [email protected] for more info!
