2021 Neighborhood Association Memberships are due starting January 1st..these $25 per year volunteer dues help keep the common areas landscaped, the crime watch initiatives active and support neighborhood activities. Is it necessary to join the community association?
No, the Kensington Park Community Association is voluntary, but by joining you do get up to the minute information on any issues occurring in the neighborhood, and your dues help support our neighborhood watch, our beautification committee and our community events.

Who can be a member?
Anyone who resides within the boundaries of Kensington Park/Groveland, which are between Waters and Habersham and DeRenne and Kensington Drive
Is the pool for residents?
The pool association is actually separate from the homeowners and can be contacted at www.kensingtonpool.com.
Are there neighborhood covenants?
No, all covenants have expired and Kensington /Groveland abides by the City of Savannah's ordinances.
Is the association strict as far as maintenance goes?
The association, in concert with the City of Savannah Property Maintenance Department tries to monitor conditions to keep the neighborhood in compliance as well as to maintain an aesthetic that keeps property values up and crime down.
What are the major issues the association is working on now?
Kensington Park neighborhood association and the pool are two separate entities, however we always work together to make our neighborhood great. At present the city has leased property form the pool to build a playground.
We have recently been successful in adding a crossing assist light at Habersham and Kensington. This light is helping our residents cross Habersham more safely.
The DeRenne Project is still underway and information can be found on the City of Savannah's website. We are always concerned with speeders and ask that all residents do their part in keeping the speed limit. Also report speeders whenever possible. The KPCA is also about half way through becoming a historic neighborhood
Now that Kensington Park and Groveland are historic will we be restricted as far as what we do to our homes, yards, painting, etc?
No, the historic designation we have will not hinder your ability to change your home in whatever way you desire as long as it fits within the City and County ordinances. It is an honorary designation and may offer some protections as far as commercial encroachment.
